FAQ
Who are we?

GayNetwork is a network of 40 websites (https://www.gaynetwork.com/fr/sites) that allows customers to access 30,000 videos across all network sites with a single user account. The sites are hosted by Studio Presse, a service provider specializing in gay video streaming based in Paris since 2001 and the creator of Citebeur.com. To watch content, customers can subscribe to a monthly renewable plan for €59.90 or purchase ticket bundles ranging from €5 to €50.

What is the purpose of Gaynetwork.com?

Each site in the network features specific content dedicated to a studio, actor, or theme. Gaynetwork.com serves as a platform for amateur and professional creators to showcase their content. Customer access is available at gaynetwork.com, while creators and affiliates can access the platform at pro.gaynetwork.com.

What are the benefits of Gaynetwork.com?

• Up to 70% payout : Creators who set up their studio on Gaynetwork.com earn (i) 35% of subscription and ticket sales revenue dedicated to viewing their content, and (ii) 35% of purchases made by customers they bring to the network, regardless of the videos watched. This totals up to 70% of the revenue when affiliated customers consume their content.

• Rapid Monetization: Videos uploaded by a Creator are quickly monetized as they are immediately presented to the numerous network customers who already have accounts and have subscribed or purchased tickets. Once online, the Creator's videos are just one click away from generating revenue.

• User-Friendly Interface: The platform offers a simple, intuitive, and efficient interface. A Creator's studio page on Gaynetwork.com (gaynetwork.com/mystudio) serves as an ideal showcase for displaying their work and marketing their videos to fans on social media.

• Full Pricing and Exposure Control: Creators set the rental price for each video uploaded to their account. They can remove their videos at any time, maintaining full control over their exposure on the network. Videos shared by Creators are notavailable for download by network customers.

• Simplified Collab Management: A Creator who does not have the identification documents or permissions of a participant in a collaboration can obtain their consent and share earnings with them online by tagging them on the platform.
What is a Creator?

A Creator is an individual or a company (including sole traders and proprietorship) that registers an account on Gaynetwork.com and establishes a Studio to share content.

• An individual is classified as an amateur.

• A company is classified as a professional.

What is a Studio?

A Studio is a collection of videos managed by an amateur or professional Creator under a single name and displayed on a dedicated page (gaynetwork.com/mystudio). Creators appearing in their videos are encouraged to use their stage name as their studio name.

What are the differences between an amateur Creator and a professional Creator on GayNetwork?

• A professional manages their content through a business or microenterprise, whereas an amateur shares their content as a private individual.

• A professional issues an invoice upon receiving payment, while an amateur provides a simple earnings statement.

• A professional can share both their Productions and Collaborations, whereas an amateur Creator can only share Collaborations ( see definition in FAQ Videos).

Can the same video be shared by different Creators on the platform?

On GayNetwork, each video is unique and cannot be duplicated or shared by multiple Creators.

In the case of duplicates, the video is attributed to the Creator who submitted it for validation first.

For collaborations, no party is disadvantaged, as the revenue generated is automatically and equally shared among the Creators appearing in the video. Additionally, each collaboration is automatically included in the studio of each participating Creator.

What are the differences between a Production and a Collaboration (or Collab)?

• Production: A video created by a professional Creator who owns all associated rights.

• Collaboration: A video created by multiple amateur or professional Creators who appear voluntarily under a mutual agreement regarding rights.

To share a Production, a professional Creator must have signed authorization and proof of age for all Models appearing in the video.

To share a Collaboration, a Creator must tag the participating Creators on GayNetwork and share the generated earnings with them.

A Production generates 35% of its earnings for the Creator who shares it and owns the rights. A Collaboration generates 35% of its earnings for all participating Creators, with earnings automatically and equally distributed among them.

What does it mean to "tag" a Creator?

Tagging a Creator means notifying them of the sharing of a Collaboration in which they appear. When a Creator uploads a Collaboration, they must tag all participants to: (i) Share the earnings with them. (ii) Allow the tagged Creators to withdraw their consent for the Collaboration's distribution, if necessary.

What is the "Consent to Share Content in Which I Appear" agreement signed when opening an account?

By creating an account, an amateur Creator or the representative of a professional Creator agrees to the sharing of any content in which they appear on GayNetwork, whether they are the one sharing the content or another Creator is.

Consent for content shared by others is granted under the following conditions:

• Prior authorization for Productions shared by professional Creators.

• Notification on their account (in the "mystudio/mycollabs" section) for Collaborations shared by other Creators.

• Automatic and equal sharing of earnings generated by the Collaboration among participating Creators.

• The ability to withdraw consent for any Collaboration at any time.

Each Creator has the right to contest the publication or sale of content in which they appear. They can use the "Report Content" form available at the bottom of each page on GayNetwork sites. In case of disputes between Creators, Studio Presse is available to help resolve the issue.

Can a Creator withdraw consent for a notified Collaboration?

Yes, a Creator can withdraw consent for a Collaboration at any time by emailing [email protected] or filling out the "Report Content" form at the bottom of any page.

• Once consent is withdrawn, the Collaboration is removed from the platform, and earnings distribution stops.

• Creators can view their notified and sent Collaborations in the "mystudio/mycollabs" section.

Can a Creator contest the sharing of their appearance in a Production?

Yes, a Creator can contest the sharing of their appearance in a Production at any time, particularly by filling out the "Report Content" form available at the bottom of GayNetwork pages.
On which websites are my videos available?

A studio's videos are displayed on its page (gaynetwork.com/name-of-your-studio). They are also displayed in the thematic sections of gaynetwork.com and, where applicable, on other network sites, at the discretion of the service provider, if they correspond to their theme (Your earnings per site are available in the monstudio/Earnings per site section). Excerpts from your videos may also appear on sites belonging to our affiliate program when they promote them.

What's the difference between maximum and reduced exposure?

When you upload a video to your account, you must choose an exposure mode:

-Maximum exposure: This means that your video will be shown to all visitors to the GayNetwork sites, whether they have an account or not, and whether they are customers or not. Maximum exposure also gives you the opportunity to be featured in our newsletters and on partner sites belonging to our affiliate program.

Reduced exposure: Limits the exposure of your video to customers of all GayNetwork sites.

How do I upload several videos at once?

If you have several dozen videos available on a folder accessible online (FTP, Google Drive, One Drive etc.) contact the technical team to organize an automatic and faster transfer to our servers.

What video formats are supported?

We accept SD, HD and 4K videos in .mov, .mp4, .m4v and .avi formats up to 5GB in size. If you wish to upload videos in other formats or sizes, please contact the technical team for personalized assistance.

How can I maximize sales of my videos?

-By regularly uploading new videos. The larger your catalog, the higher your earnings will be, as customers who love your content will be able to consume it. What's more, customers are particularly fond of new content.

- By taking care, for each video submitted, to prepare a trailer, tag the models featured in it and generate a tweet when it's published. - By regularly consulting your monsudio/mesgainsparvideos statistics to understand the expectations of our platform's customers.

How can I optimize the search engine optimization of my videos?

Creators have control over the name and description of their studios, and over the title and description of each of their videos. Descriptions are automatically translated into five languages. Translations can be manually enhanced by the Creator if required. Finally, an active presence on social networks also helps improve your SEO.

Are my videos downloadable?

No. They are streamed only, to encourage customers to return to the site regularly and to reduce the risk of piracy.

How do I modify, suspend or delete a video?

Click on the **My Studio** link to access your videos.

Identify the one you wish to edit or delete. The icons at the top of the page (playback, photo, pen, etc.) allow you to navigate easily between the different editing sections.

- In the **Publication settings** section (represented by a rocket), you can leave a message for the attention of the moderator, for example to report a technical or editorial problem.

- On the page illustrated by the star icon, you can tag the models who took part in the shoot.

- Finally, on the last editing page, you can choose to **delete** the video. If you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Can a video submitted by a Creator be suspended or removed from the site?

As a service provider, we don't have a systematic monitoring obligation. However, this status does require us to act promptly if a video is identified by a customer or a third party as illicit or contrary to our charter. If we have any doubts about the validity of the report, we will forward it to you, giving you 48 hours to remove the video or explain why it is still being used. In the absence of a reply or convincing explanation, the video will be withdrawn.

In view of the sensitive nature of our content and to comply with the guidelines of our payment service providers, we check videos before they are broadcast, without this affecting our status as a service provider. This control is carried out by an individual, but may in future be automated. If the video is deemed legal and complies with our charter, it is made available to customers. If, on the other hand, it contravenes our terms and conditions of use, it will not be published, and we will notify you of the reason for the ban, so that you can remedy the situation if necessary.

What does Gaynetwork do to protect my videos from piracy?

- The option to download your videos is not available to customers of the site. This is a preferred piracy vector.

- Right-click is disabled on media from a computer. The "drag and drop" function for saving media is disabled on a computer. The video recording function is disabled on our streaming players. On mobile devices, media is protected from saving by a prolonged click.

- Our algorithms detect suspicious customer purchasing behavior that could lead to piracy.

- We regularly intervene with hosts to remove pirated videos when a creator is unable to enforce his or her property rights.

What are the differences between a Production and a Collaboration (or Collab)?

- A Production is a video made by a Professional Creator who owns all the rights.

- A Collaboration is a video made by several Amateur or Professional Creators, in which they appear voluntarily under a reciprocal rights agreement.

To exploit a Production, a Professional Creator must have the signed authorization and proof of majority of all Models appearing in it.

To exploit a Collaboration, a Creator must tag on GayNetwork the Creators who participate in it and share with them the earnings it generates.

A Production yields 35% of the profits it generates to the Creator who exploits it and owns the rights to it. A collaboration earns 35% of the profits it generates for all participating Creators. Earnings are automatically and equally distributed among participants.

Can the same video be used by different Creators on the Platform?

On GayNetwork, each video is unique and cannot be duplicated or exploited by several Creators.

In the event of duplication, the video is attributed to the Creator who first submitted it for validation.

In the case of Collaboration, earnings are automatically and equally shared between the Creators who appear in it. In addition, each collaboration is automatically integrated into the studio of each of its Creators.

¿Cómo me pagan?
